Dr. Stan Setzer DC

Dr. Stan Setzer earned his Bachelor’s in Business from UNC Asheville in 2010 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College in 2016. He has since helped thousands find relief through chiropractic care, including during his time with the world’s largest chiropractic franchise.

Originally from Newton, NC, Dr. Stan fell in love with the Asheville area during college, and later with his wife, Melissa. Together they have four children and welcomed their first grandson in 2022.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Stan is a lifelong martial artist, holding a 3rd-degree black belt in Heishin Ryu Karate and a 1st-degree black belt in Toyama Ryu Iaido. He’s passionate about teaching confidence and self-defense to students of all ages.

A movie buff, writer, and believer in lifelong growth, Dr. Stan lives by the idea that small, daily improvements can lead to lasting change, both personally and within our communities. He brings this same philosophy into his practice, helping patients improve their health, function, and overall well-being through chiropractic care.
